The most common complaint about a contract is the failure by the service company to provide the number of services specified.

You need to keep your own records about any missed services and formally notify the service company each time.

The norm in the washroom services sector seems to be that contracts will automatically renew unless you give the required notice period. Most seem to be three months but you should check your specific contract and even confirm with the washroom company.

If you are still stuck on contract and are unhappy with your service there are two options left open to you.

Firstly you must check out the detail in the contract you have. Some contracts might not be worth the paper they are written on, while other may have unreasonable terms that would not stand up in court.

Always make your voice heard and even get comparative quotes to maybe use to get the existing price down.

Our recommendation is not to enter into any lengthy contracts, certainly for just sanitary disposal. A one year, or yearly rolling contract with three month notice is freely available from many service companies.
